The Topic of Our Daily Manna for 1st SEPTEMBER 2020 Is “GIVE THANKS IN IT! NOT FOR IT!”

Basic Scriptures: 1 THESSALONIANS THESSALONIANS 5 : 11-24

Welcome to today’s devotional hour with He that is called the, “YEA” and the “AMEN.” The Holy Ghost is still speaking to a user of today’s devotional concerning your attitude in the warfront of life! Today’s Word says IN Verse 18: IN everything give thanks: FOR this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” You should give thanks IN everything – good or bad. That doesn’t mean you need to give thanks FOR everything. You don’t need to give thanks FOR that bad day of betrayal. Or FOR that bad relationship. Or FOR being passed over at work by a wicked boss or FOR sickness, financial hardships, etc. Whatever it is – you are not to give thanks FOR the difficulties, but rather IN the difficulties. That is a very important distinction, and one I think we often miss. Giving thanks IN everything shows a heart of faith that God is bigger than that difficulty and that He can do, re-do, undo and overdo if you TRUST HIM! BUT THOUSANDS WAIT FOR THE STORM TO PASS BEFORE THEY GIVE THANKS! That’s an ERROR because battles come from time to time! You don’t have to wait for the storm to PASS before you dance! Learn to DANCE and SING even in the storm! Halleluyah! This is because PRAISE will always RAISE you out of the storm by His grace! Hear Kay Arthur: “God is in control,and therefore in EVERYTHING I can give thanks – not because of the situation but because of the One who directs and rules over it.” I love what Rick Warren said: “In happy moments, PRAISE GOD. In difficult moments, SEEK GOD. In quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD. In painful moments, TRUST GOD. Every moment, THANK GOD.” The great spiritual dynamite, Lady Corrie ten Boom noted: “I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands, that, I still possess.” IN ALL things (good or bad) give thanks and shame the devil forever! Begin now!!!

3. Repent from COMPLAINING in all things in the past.
4. I lift up my hands and I give You my CREATOR THANKS IN all things particularly the following issues of my life, family and ministry (mention them and give HIM thanks). He will make a way no matter how long it takes.
5. Pull down every root of SATANIC OPPOSITION to your peace and celebration.Pray about the NEW “EMBER” MONTH. Cancel evil!
6. Pray in Tongues seriously! Pray for Israel today.
