Basic Scripture:  LUKE  17 : 12-19, 1  THESSALONIANS 5 : 1-1

OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR  23RD  JUNE 2021.

Beloved, one foundation we must lay for a better understanding of today’s devotional is to differentiate healing from wholeness. Now, healing means the stoppage of sickness-induced symptoms like pain, body degeneration, discomfort, inefficiency, lack or excesses in the body system. But wholeness is not just the stoppage of symptoms, like pain, body degeneration, discomfort, inefficiency, lack or excesses in the body system,but it means the complete removal of any sign, scar or indication that a person has suffered a particular sickness or disease.

Wholeness is simply becoming brand new, like a new born baby.It means EXTRA BLESSINGS YOU DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR! It means EXTRA BLESSINGS BEYOND JUST SICKNESS! This is what the Samaritan got, while the nine other lepers only got healing. But what could have made the Samaritan get wholeness, instead of the healing that the 9 other lepers got? The answer is gratitude. The Samaritan appreciated the healing he received from Jesus, so much so that he came back to say, “Thank You’”and this moved Jesus to make the pronouncement that He was made whole.

The remaining 9 simply went their way when they were healed, according to Luke 17:12-19. One very good way to move heaven to do more concerning the issues of your life is through gratitude. And that is why Zig Ziglar once penned: “Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.’’ But unfortunately, too many of us have become over familiar with God that we begin to take Him and His works and miracles for granted. This explains why it was only the Samaritan, a total stranger, that came back to say: “thank you.’’ The other nine must have been Jews.

Today’s 2nd Basic Scripture says: “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’’ It doesn’t matter what you are going through or who you are, as long as you have breath in your nostrils, there is always something to be grateful for and that God expects gratitude for. Apart from fulfilling the will of God by being thankful, you are sure to move the hand of God concerning the issues of your life when you express gratitude to Him. So, be like the Samaritan leper, be grateful and God will do more for you. GRATITUDE MAKES YOU WHOLE!

OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR  22ND  JUNE 2021.

Beloved, let me start today’s devotional with the words of Hash Quotes and he penned: “Your reality is a reflection of your strongest belief.’’ In other words, whatever is happening in your life today is connected to what you believe in your heart. Welcome to today’s devotional. Andreas Lubitz is the German Wings young pilot that crashed an airbus A320 plane into the French mountains, with 149 passengers on board, in 2018. Andreas Lubitz had suffered and had been treated for chronic depression. But before that fatal flight, he had been seeing numerous other doctors, in his fight against depression.

Oh! DEPRESSION is a dangerous voice! I was nearly a victim when I wanted to commit suicide just before this vision ODM WAS BORN! One error that people suffering from the torture of depression often commit is to kill themselves, believing that once they commit suicide, all their torture will end; not knowing that more torture awaits them in hell for taking their lives and that of other people just as young Andreas Lubitz did, by crashing the Airbus he flew with 149 passengers on board.

That was his LAST MEDICINE to end his battle with DEPRESSION! His erroneous belief (a satanic lie) that suicide would end it all cost 149 passengers their lives. I decree right now: “YOU WILL NOT BE A VICTIM OF ANOTHER MAN’S BATTLE! Yea! You will not PAY THE PRICE FOR ANOTHER MAN’S ERRONEOUS BELIEF! Yes! Yes! Yes! I decree again: You will not die the death of others this year in JESUS NAME.’’ Matthew 2:1-3 says: “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, ‘Where is He that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him.’

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.’’ Note: ALL JERUSALEM WITH HIM! One man’s fear and belief became the fear and belief of the whole city! Wow!This scripture is the reason behind King Herod’s slaughter of all male children, two years and below. King Herod erroneously thought that Jesus had come to contend for his throne with him! A WRONG BELIEF! This wrong belief led to the death of INNOCENT MALE CHILDREN WITH GREAT STARS! This wrong belief led to the quick SUNSET of all the RISING little “SUNS” of destiny! Oh! WASTED INNOCENT MALE CHILDREN WITH GREAT STARS!

Today’s 2nd Basic Scripture says: “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.’’ An erroneous belief or misconception can be very dangerous because it can prompt people into destructive erroneous actions, such as the one taken by the German Wings pilot, which killed 149 passengers and the genocide ordered by Herod, which killed 14, 000 innocent babies. But I stand upon the Word of God in today’s 2nd Basic Scripture and decree upon your life: “You will not be the victim of another man’s battle because the Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul and cause you to prevail, in Jesus name.’’ Pray seriously!

No normal human being will ever stand up and announce that his or her desire in life is to fail. There is an innate desire in every human being to succeed. However, lots of people fail. The history of mankind is laced with failure in every area of life and in every aspect. Failure is that one thing that does not respect colour or tribe, it has no regard for religion or culture, neither does it care whether you are rich or poor. That tells me one thing: IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO WANT TO SUCCEED. It has been said, ‘if wishes were horses, beggars would ride’. When this proverb was coined, it was used to particularly describe those who were so lazy that they had to resort to begging to survive.

You can wish and dream and desire all you want, if you don’t roll up your sleeves and get busy, failure will overtake you and keep your dreams and desires in the pit. Turn your desires into action. Make your dreams a reality by believing them strongly enough to work on them. Clarify what you want and find out what it takes to make it happen. Jesus said “If you have a desire to build a skyscraper, won’t it be smart to sit down first and plan so that you know whether you have what it takes to start and finish the skyscraper” (author’s rendering and interpretation).

Planning is essential. That is why I always begin a new year with a clear plan. I begin a new quarter and a new month with a clear plan. I don’t just want to have a ‘want.’ I want to take it a step further; I want to have a ‘plan’ too. And above all, commit your plans to the Lord, trust in Him and He will bring it to pass. Move out of the class of people who are passing the path of laziness and failure today and step into the realm of success that God designed for you.

This is funny but loaded! It was sent to me by a friend and it is appreciated! The story illustrates the power of EVEN ONE LETTER in a sentence or word! There was a spelling mistake and the husband could not go home without a police escort! A husband wrote a romantic message to his wife on his official trip and missed an “e” in the last word. He wrote: “Hi darling I’m experiencing the best time of my life and I wish you were “her.” Now he is seeking police protection and a legal explanation to enter his own house because the wife saw “HER” instead of “HERE.” He wanted to write: “I wish you were “here” but he wrote: “I wish you were “her.” Oh! The power of little things! In 2021, resist the devil and refuse to allow any power to trick you into just ONE SIN, ONE PROCRASTINATION, ONE act of unforgiveness/ malice! One little bout of anger! One careless word!

Just one month of not paying your Tithe, just one Sunday of missing church, just one little act of sleep, etc. LITTLE THINGS, LITTLE LEAKS are what will sink a great ship! No wonder John Woode penned: “It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.” Just before facing His cross, Jesus prayed many “little, short” but agonizing prayers in the garden of Gethsemane. It was those little repeated prayers that shook the world! It was COMMON WATER that became the FIRST MIRACLE OF JESUS! Not an oceanic wave! Just COMMON, everyday drinking water! Arise now and stop every plan to use little things to sink you this year! Pray seriously!

OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR  29TH  APRIL 2021.

When the Most High God blesses a man, that man becomes qualified to take the highest position available. A man who has been blessed by the Most High has no position with the low and depressed. There is nothing the enemy can do to subdue such a man again. The blessings of God upon that man will begin to work day and night and lift him up, higher and higher; above the storms of life, above the sorrow and pain, above the bitterness and depression, above the opposition, above the mountains and obstacles. That blessing will lift him higher and higher until he becomes a reference point for God’s blessings and greatness. Hear the words of Melchizedek the priest of the Most High God: “Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth.” Did you get that? ABRAM was BLESSED because His God is the highest!

No matter what is happening, always remember that YOU ARE BLESSED TOO! Even when you CANNOT SEE IT, just remember that YOU ARE BLESSED this year! Immediately after that encounter, God appeared to Abram in Genesis 15 and gave the promise of becoming a father of many nations. Nothing is more important and valuable to you than the blessings (FAVOUR) of THE MOST HIGH God. Value the blessings of this God more than any other thing. If the devil robs you of all that you have, make sure that he doesn’t rob you of the revelation of the value of GOD’S BLESSINGS because He is the MOST HIGH! Lift up your hands and declare that the MOST HIGH is your God and YOU ARE BLESSED!

I once read a story about a family that arrived at a hotel after travelling for hours. Everyone was tired and stressed out including the two kids. As part of their services, many hotels in that country used to provide goldfish in their hotel rooms to serve as a source of entertainment, especially for the children that came with their parents. When they got to the counter, the first question the kids asked was, “Do you have a goldfish in the room?” The receptionist answered, ‘NO.’ Everyone was discouraged and downcast. A cleaner that was preparing to go home overheard the disappointment of the kids and thought of what to do. He quickly walked about twenty minutes to the nearest hotel that had goldfish in their rooms. He asked to loan just one of the fish and came back to give to their guests.

The family was thrilled and the father took time to appreciate the cleaner. He then asked him, “Why did you go through all that stress?” The man’s answer was simple, “I know how things work with kids. When my kids are unhappy, my wife is unhappy. And when my wife is unhappy, I am unhappy. It’s bad to be stuck in one hotel room with kids that are unhappy and a wife that is stressed out and unhappy. I just wanted to do all I could to make your time here fun…” That man gave his best. Giving your best sometimes may mean that you do what you can to ease someone’s burden. Resolve to give your best today and in 2021. It may cost you, but in the long run, God will see it and will one day cause the book of remembrance to be opened in your favour. The same God that caused Mordecai’s good work to be remembered will cause your good works to be remembered and you will be rewarded richly. Pray seriously now!

Basic Scripture:  MATTHEW  15 : 21-28

OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR  27TH  APRIL 2021.

Dogs are domesticated carnivores of the family Canidae. They have a lifespan of between 10 – 13 years. The fastest dogs are the Greyhound (48 km/hr) and the German Shepherd (72km/hr). Names of dog breeds include Labrados, Chihuahua, Chow Chow, African Mongrel, Dobermann, Prodle, American Pit Bull, Terner, Rott Weiler, etc. Jesus described (called) this woman as ‘a dog’ but she said to Jesus something unusual (paraphrased): “Yes, I’m A Dog, But I’m A Different Kind Of Dog. I Am A Bulldog. I Will Not Leave You Alone Until I Get What I Want From You.” Ah! The Lord Jesus Could Not Resist Her! That’s one of the outstanding things about bulldog faith. It is faith that makes it very hard for the devil to resist your blessings. It is faith that causes God to move heaven and earth to do whatever you desire. Bulldog faith is faith that refuses to take “NO” for an answer.

Be reminded that one of the outstanding things about the bulldog is that once it clamps its jaws on what it wants, it can still breathe through its mouth. So no matter how long it takes to get that thing,IT NEVER GETS TIRED. BULLDOG FAITH NEVER GETS TIRED. This woman’s faith did not get tired. Remember that woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5; she had a “bulldog” kind of faith too. She kept on telling herself, “If only I can touch the helm of His garment, I shall be made whole.” She kept on saying it. The more she said it, the closer she moved to Jesus. The closer she moved to Jesus, the more she said it.

YES! SHE REFUSED TO BE DISCOURAGED. SHE REFUSED TO QUIT, AND SHE GOT WHAT SHE WANTED. In this second quarter of 2021, develop that kind of persistence, no matter what life calls you! Don’t give up in the face of opposition. Hold on to what you have received in that place of prayer until it becomes a reality. Faith is not moved by physical discouraging circumstances. Faith holds on to the Word of God until that Word becomes fulfilled. Live like a BULLDOG and this world shall see your OPEN REWARD! Amen and amen!

Basic Scriptures: DANIEL 6 : 1-3, 1 CORINTHIANS 9 : 24-27

OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 18TH MARCH 2021.

It was the great Maya Angelou who penned: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” She was talking about your STRIVING TO BE YOUR BEST in all you do! Then I remember Zig Ziglar opined: “Set a goal so big that you can’t achieve it until you grow into the person who can.” Did you get that? Go for the BEST! Refuse to settle for things that are not described as “WOW.” In this year 2021, in all you do, make the MOST of yourself; for that is all there is of you. Daniel distinguished himself because an excellent spirit was found in him. That should be your story this year! Stop doing things just for the sake of doing things! Do things with “THE BEST or NOTHING” in mind! Daniel put a mark of excellence in all that he did. His work could not be faulted. He was the best among his equals.

Hear Patrick Awuah, a former employee of Microsoft who resigned from a top-dollar job to go and start a University in his home country of Ghana because of his love and passion to raise a new generation of leaders in Africa: “If you proceed that way – that anything with your name on it is going to be absolutely spectacular – then it pushes you to strive for excellence and it pushes you to be successful.” Yes! You cannot achieve EXCELLENCE in one day, but LET IT BE YOUR PURSUIT and goal! Strive for EXCELLENCE (the BEST) in your prayer life, Bible study fire, giving, fasting, your career, business deals, character, etc.

Hear Warren Buffett: “The investor of today does not profit from yesterday’s growth.” True! He was saying, YOU MUST KEEP GROWING FOR THE BEST! You cannot rest on the best of yesterday! Hear Robin Sharma: “To double your income and success, triple your investment in personal development and professional mastery.” That was the story of DANIEL! Be TEMPERATE (disciplined) in all you do. It means that you force yourself to go the EXTRA MILE when your body is saying that you’ve done enough. That’s the fight for excellence!

Basic Scriptures: HEBREWS 6 : 1-1

In the first year of operation, Coca-cola, the worldwide beverage company, sold only fifty dollars worth of drink. The company started in 1886, and the drink was sold to the public at the Soda Fountain in a pharmacy shop in Atlanta, USA. About seventy dollars was invested in expenses during that first year! That Means Coca Cola Was At A Loss At The End Of The First Year Of Operation! The following year, John Pemberton sold his Coca-cola formula to Asa Candler for $2,300, and after about three years, it was one of America’s most popular fountain drink. Before John Pemberton came up with his Coca-cola formula, he had invented many drugs and pharmaceutical products, but he never made money out of them. BUT HE NEVER GAVE UP. He wanted something that would bring him commercial success, and he refused to QUIT!

Today’s scripture Vs. 12 speaks about those “…who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” That’s the secret – FAITH and PATIENCE! Today, an estimated 1.8 billion bottles of the drink are sold everyday. When a man sticks to his dreams, he will eventually meet with great success. Hear Robert Brault: “Stubbornly persist, and you will find that the limits of your stubbornness go well beyond the stubbornness of your limits.” I remember Nelson Mandela once said: “I NEVER LOSE! I EITHER WIN OR LEARN!” Did you get that? If you don’t win yet on any matter, then you are learning valuable lessons. Always tell the devil: “I am learning! I am not LOSING! I am not a QUITTER! I am growing by every delay/obstacle! I shall never end up in shame!” Pray seriously now!

Basic Scriptures: PSALM 77 : 1-1

OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 2ND MARCH 2021.

Yesterday’s devotional ended with Psalm 77:11: “I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember Thy wonders of old…” Did you get that? REMEMBERING THE WONDERS OF OLD! That was DAVID’s secret! That means when his Ziklag (his comfort/ joy) was burnt, when he lost everything, when his trusted friends turned against him, he just SWITCHED TO THE MEMORIES OF THE WONDERS OF WHAT GOD HAD DONE IN THE PAST! Wow! Instead of sitting on the ashes of despair, self-blame, self-pity and frustration, etc, HE SWITCHED to the WONDERS OF OLD!

That was why HE ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD! Consider all these: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God” (Psalm 20:7). “O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember Thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar” (Psalm 42:6). “And I said, ‘This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High” (Psalm 77:10). “Remember His marvellous works that He hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth” (Psalm 105:5). “I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Thy works; I muse on the work of Thy hands” (Psalm 143:5).

Wow! So David encouraged himself in the LORD by remembering past wonders and victories! He encouraged himself by focusing upon God’s faithfulness and God’s goodness! He encouraged himself by praising God’s greatness and by changing his attitude/outlook (seeing beyond the difficulty to focus on the solution). In this year 2021, when your “Ziklag” (expectations) goes up in smoke and all you see is delay or disappointments, just SWITCH and REMEMBER HIS WONDERS OF OLD! ASHES, SMOKE, WEEPING will never be your last bus-stop because your God has done it before and He will do it again in Jesus name! Hold on and hold out!

3. Pray for all MANNA AIR BRIGADE PARTNERS for the next 3 days! Declare Psalm 77: 11-14 and Psalm 143:5 again and again.
4. In this year 2021, Jehovah God, You are my STONE OF HELP.
5. In this year 2021, I determine toREMEMBER THE WONDERS OF OLD! I shall remember His marvellous works; I shall muse (meditate) on the work of His hands and I shall focus upon God’s faithfulness and mercies! And I shall encourage myself in Him in Jesus name.
6. I decree that what God has written concerning me in 2021 shall ALL locate me. Pray in Tongues seriously as led now.
7. Pray about today as led now.
